This morning I got one of those spam emails with the paragraph of nonsense down at the bottom, which included the phrase "The Zeppelins Rain Down Upon Us."
That sentence was truly worthy of illustration.

Painter Oil Cloner

Cheating again. This was a spot I did years ago. I just opened it in Painter and used the Oil Cloner brush to make it all brushy, just for cheap, lazy fun. Hey, it's 90 degrees, cut me some slack. Below it is the original.

Vet's office

This is a rough for a self-promo postcard. I always sketch in blue pencil first, then black pencil overtop a little tighter. After I scan the sketch, I drop out the blue in Photoshop.

I'm kinda into these huge fat black lines right now. I'll get back to the more colorful stuff tomorrow. This is me facing the piles of work that waited for me while I was sick.

By the way, if your doc ever gives you Ciproflaxin for something minor, ask for a less powerful antibiotic. That stuff messsed me up worse than the original illness.
